hello people need to stop blaming murders on autism we are statistically more likely to be the victims than to be the perpetrator, and if someone who is autistic does commit a crime, that rarely has anything to do with their autism.
seriously there was literally a shooting today at a jewish museum and no one’s talking about it. a lot of people on tumblr have also shown that they want to ignore anti-semitism but you just can’t do that because shit like this literally JUST happened
Yeah. Because multiple women being shot just because a man felt like they owed him sex is “accepting and equal.”
Because people on the internet supporting him with things like “you shoulda raped them” and “that’s what you get for friendzoning him” is “accepting and equal.”
Because crimes not even that severe are declared acts of terrorism with no support when the perpetrator isn’t white is “accepting and equal.”
Because the blame instantly goes to him being “mentally ill” and “needing help”, while neuroatypical people struggle every day to fit in to your standards of “normal” is “accepting and equal.”
Because comments acting like sex is a basic human need, completely erasing people that don’t experience sexual attraction or desire sex and making them feel wrong, is “accepting and equal.”
Because after there was a shooting in a Jewish museum, directly linked to hatred of the religion, nobody caused an uproar, is “accepting and equal.”
Because an act against any group needs to be violent before it can even begin to be considered a problem is “accepting and equal.”
Always remember that women who call themselves feminists will be accused so many times of being man-haters, but when a man kills women just for being women, he is called mentally unwell, and a madman rather than a woman-hater or misogynist.
as much as everyone should be talking about the UC shootings and creating an online discussion about misogyny and gun control, please don’t forget that there was a shooting at a jewish museum in brussels today too.

He did it because he hated women and felt entitled, and people gave him sympathy that only white people get, and blamed it on mental illness
And people have the gall to tell women, poc, and mentally disabled people that they’re being “oversensitive”
